Danny Gale Vanover

Danny Gale Vanover, 66, of Owensboro passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Danny was born Nov. 14, 1952, in Owensboro to the late Rev. Charles Vanover and Helen Deno Vanover. He was retired from Haliburton where he worked as a carpenter. Danny lived in Giddings, Texas for over 36 years of his life until 2017. Danny loved living in Texas.

Danny enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys Football games and loved painting.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Vanover; and two sisters; Nancy Dowell and Martha Jean Vanover.

He is survived by his son, Danial Vanover; a daughter, Krystal Vanover Payne (Aaron Shane Waugh); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, John (Margaret) Vanover of Hawesville, Neal (Faye) Vanover of Reed, and Jimmy (Lin) Vanover of Las Vegas, NV; four sisters, Ann (LB) Cox of Owensboro, Thelma Anderson of Crystal River, FL., Ruth Horn of Owensboro and Brenda (Billy) Ford of Philpot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at noon, Tuesday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.
Burial will follow in Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
