Betty Sue Raymer, 85 of Utica, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Riverside Care. She was born on July 27, 1939 in Union City, TN to the late Leslie & Swan Edington. Betty was retired from the Hon Chair Company and a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church. Betty was a home interior decorator, enjoyed crafts and was a huge Elvis fan. She loved all animals and loved to cook; she would always have plenty of food for everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Raymer and sister, Jeanette Ratliff.
Survivors include her three sons; David Raymer, Roy Raymer, and Barry Raymer (Nancy); 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Eddington (Judy) and Larry Eddington; two sisters, Peggy Campbell and Carol Rice (John); and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Brenda Poole and Riverside Care & Rehab. for the great care they gave Betty.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Greenbrier Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 – 2:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
