Anthony Ross “Tony” Adcox, age 63 of Kingswood, KY passed away September 1, 2024 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born in Louisville, KY on January 2, 1961, son of the late John Edward and Dorothy Lee Courtney Adcox. Tony was an employee of Mid-Park in Leitchfield, KY. He was very proud to say that he spent “50 years shifting gears”. He enjoyed outdoor activities, such as camping, boating and deer hunting. Tony was a good host and loved entertaining his family to cook-outs, where he was the “King of Refreshments”. He spent many hours working on his 57 Chevy. An annual event that he looked forward to was the Mid-West Truck Show. Tony was most happy when surrounded his family, especially his grandbabies, who were his world.
He is survived by Nina, his wife of almost 39 years.
2 children – Danielle Clark (Patrick) of Leitchfield, KY and Kyle Adcox (Tonia) of Irvington, KY
4 grandchildren – Scarlett Clark, Temperance, Keilana and Lainee Adcox
2 sisters – Alisa Carman (Doug) of Hardinsburg, KY and Sheila Opdyke (Chet) of Louisville, KY and their families.
He is also survived by a host of good friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
