Rebecca Jo Farmer, 76, of Owensboro passed away September 1, 2024, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care – Heartford House. The Daviess County native was born on January 25, 1948, to Frank, Jr. and Essie Pass. Rebecca was a tender hearted, kind, and loving woman who spread her light to those around her. Rebecca was an avid reader, reading anything from Stephen King to educational texts; she could finish a book faster than her children could nap. Her paranormal interests also took her to the Willard Public Library every year around Halloween in search of the “Grey Lady” that haunts the halls. Her late husband and love of her life, Darrell, and she enjoyed going to the Highland Games each year as well, his Scottish roots made for a fun tradition to share.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Farmer; parents, Frank, Jr. and Essie Pass; and sister, Linda Miller.
