HARTFORD-William Lee “Billy” Phillips died Friday September 6, 2024 at his home. Billy was born in Torrence, California to the late Urel Lawrence and Mamie Nell Boggan Phillips. Billy worked at Perdue Farms from 1997 to 2019 and was a member of Beulah Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his companion, Jane Tinsley and their dog Rowdy; his sister-Margaret Rose Sampson of Cabot, Arkansas; 2 brothers-Lawrence “Larry” Erwin Phillips(Hortensia) of Ft. Worth, Texas and David Carlton Phillips(Dianne) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Robert Barron officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 10AM until funeral time Saturday at the funeral home. The Family asks for expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Ohio County.
