Laurie Ann McArthur, age 63 of Owensboro, KY passed away September 8, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 29, 1960, daughter of the late Aldonia Alfreda Jezewski and William John McArthur, Jr. Laurie was a sales representative with Cardinal Heath. She enjoyed her job and was well liked and respected by her co-workers. She was a member of First Church of God in Owensboro, KY and Sisters to Sisters with Custer Church of God. Laurie was a wonderful cook, but an even better baker and was well known for her delicious peanut butter cookies. She enjoyed crocheting and playing computer games.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Andrew and William Thomas McArthur.
Laurie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Lisa and Terry Ames of Owensboro, KY
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
