Loretta Marie Elliott, age 71 of Eastview, KY passed away September 26, 2024, at Indian Creek Health Center in Corydon, IN. She was born in Webster, KY on February 21, 1953, daughter of the late Noah and Luna Drake Smallwood. Loretta was a former employee of Brown and Williamson, but found her true passion in farming and being a homemaker. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores, flower gardening – especially roses, reading and working puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Elliott, son Charles Robinson, great grandson Briggs Wayne Hardesty and siblings Norman, Eli, Harvey, Cora Alice, Annie Mae, Helen, Marine and Frances.
Loretta is survived by 2 daughters: Melissa Robinson of Eastview, KY and Rachel Shelton of Vine Grove, KY
Stepdaughter: Lori Alexander of Hardinsburg, KY
Stepson: Eddie Elliott of Owensboro, KY
9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
1 brother: Virgil Smallwood
2 sisters: Maggie Basham and Georgie Whitworth
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 1 PM with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, 4-8 PM and Sunday, 10 AM – 1 PM.
