
Norman Aloysius Wright, 59, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday Sept. 26, 2024 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Norman was born Aug. 18, 1965, in Owensboro, Ky to William Bernard Wright, SR and Julia Kathaleen Howard Wright. Norman had been a carpenter since he was twelve years old and a member of INKYOH Union Hall for over 25 years. He was a member of The Father’s House, Welcome Committee, Worship Team and Youth Group at his church.
Norman loved to fish, camp, hunt, and was an avid knife collector, loved playing with and teaching his children and grandchildren, and was a lover of God.
He is preceded by his brother, little Bill; and two grandchildren, Naomi and Michael.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Jaime Lynne Moseley; children, Norman Wright II (Jessica), Brittney Farris Hall (Dakota), Haley Wright Cook (Taylynn); six grandchildren, Emma Wright, Norman Wright III, Kaydence Wright, Paige Hall, Zachariah Farris, and Velma Hall; siblings, Millie Roberts (Tony), Lucia Cunningham (Rodger), William Wright JR (Yevonne), Julia Young (Michael), Christopher Wright (Robert), Lois Roberts (Lonnie); many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2024 at The Father’s House, 3031 Bittel Road Owensboro, KY. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the church. Pastor Mike Cisneros will be officiating.
