Bobby Charles Blandford

December 17, 1932 - April 26, 2019

Bobby Charles Blandford, 86, of Owensboro, passed away April 26, 2019, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born December 17, 1932, in Owensboro, to the late Russell Blandford and Marie Wilkins Brockman. Bobby was a corporal in the United States Army and served in the Korean war during his 8-year enlistment. He retired from the Owensboro Fire Department, where he served as a Captain. Bobby enjoyed arrow head hunting, hunting game, and fishing. He was a 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of Christ Community Church.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce Carroll Blandford; daughters, Charlesa (Jim) Yeiser and Sandy (Bobby) Aull; son, Dwight Blandford; grandchildren, Brian (Ashley) Kamuf, Jeremy Kamuf, Tiffany (Robbie) Clark, and Cynda (Curtis) Wood; step-grandchildren, Ryan Aull, Adrian (Annie Laurie) Yeiser, Jordy (Cynthia) Yeiser, and Jackie Sue (Zack) Smith; great-grandchildren, Keleigh, Clayton, Caroline, Tommy, Ryder, and Cannon; step great-grandchildren, Leif, Walt, Maple, Clair, James Hawkins, Rush, Channing, Alexander, and Christian, sister, Regina Farmer; and brother, Eugene (Peggy) Brockman.

The memorial service for Mr. Blandford will be 11am Wednesday, at Christ Community Church, with Pastor Myke Templeton officiating. Care has been entrusted to Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
