John W. Blandford, 64, of Owensboro, passed away on September 29, 2024. He was born to the late Joseph and Joyce (Cundiff) Blandford. John spent over fourteen years as a Model Maker with Whitehall Furniture before the facility closed.
In his spare time, John enjoyed building toyboxes for charity raffles, spending time with his friends listening to music, fishing, and woodworking. Those close to him will remember John as a caring, selfless, and giving family man.
Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his brothers, Tony and Scott Blandford.
Those left to cherish John’s memory include his sons, Derrick (Natalie), Jonathan, and Zach Blandford, his grandchildren, Lilith, Nora, Addison, and Savannah Blandford, and his siblings, Rodney, Paula (Haskell), Kenny, Jeff (Mary), Janet (Mike), and Tracey.
Friends and family are welcome to reminisce and share memories during visitation, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
