Robert Joseph Claycomb, age 59 of Garfield, KY passed away October 7, 2024, at Norton Inpatient Care Center. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on July 18, 1965, son of the late Geneva Faye Wiliams and Larry Martin Claycomb. Bobby was a member of Custer United Methodist Church and enjoyed woodworking, model cars and sharing meals with his sisters. He was a big fan of Reese’s Cups.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bryant Claycomb.
Bobby is survived by 5 sisters: Jacqueline Negron Claycomb of Brandenburg, KY; Kim Bennett (Eddie) of Custer, KY; Tammy Bowan (Marcos) of Seattle, WA; Jennifer Hall (Jason) of Elizabethtown, KY and Carrie Board (Travis) of Irvington, KY
2 brothers: Scott Claycomb of Elizabethtown, KY and Arvin Claycomb of Leitchfield, KY
Several nieces and nephews and their families also survive.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 4 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 2 PM on Thursday.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
