Jack Barlow, 89, of Tell City, formerly of Owensboro and Pellville, passed away May 2, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 10, 1929 in Daviess County, KY to the late Embert and Gertrude Barlow. Jack was an Accountant at Green River Steel for 30 years. He was also a cattle farmer and enjoyed investing and watching the stock market. He and his wife, Betty, enjoyed traveling around the country. They visited the Smokies twice a year for several years. Jack loved watching basketball and was a jazz guitarist. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Norman Dale Barlow and son-in-law, Perry Arnold.
Jack is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty; son, Neil Barlow (Beth); daughter, Cindy Arnold; grandchildren, Jennifer Maglinger, Heather Mazurier (Josh), Caleb Barlow; great-grandchildren, Andrew Stein and Jade Stein; and sister-in-law, Lucille Shultz (Randy).
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
