Charles Raymond Embry, 72, of Owensboro, died, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Todd-Dickey Nursing & Rehab. in Leavenworth, IN. He was born on September 16, 1946 in Butler County to the late Charles & Dorothy Embry. Charles was a member of Christ Gospel Church and worked in concrete construction his whole life.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a great grandchild, Xavier, brother, Jerry Embry; sister, Linda Earl.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Phyllis Rowan Embry; three sons, Raymond (Kelly) Embry, Griffin (Amy) Embry, Jeff (Julie) Embry; a daughter, Barbara Embry; 7 grandchildren, Nikki, Dustin, Ciara, Kelsey, Jasmine, and Chance; 4 great grandchildren, Kynleigh, Colton, Connor, Grace; sister, Connie Embry.
Services will be 1:00 Tuesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Utica Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00-1:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
