Wendell Allen Crowe, 79, of Owensboro, passed away November 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of W. Kentucky. He was born on December 31, 1944, to the late Finley Todd Crowe and Mary Beatrice Neel.
Wendell was a U.S. Army veteran and later went on to work for CSX Transportation as an accountant. He was a Baptist and member of Karns Grove Baptist Church in Owensboro. Wendell was an artistic man who enjoyed drawing horses as well as playing the bass guitar, country music being his one and only favorite genre. He loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren, who brought him daily joy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sabrina Sparks; brother, James Crowe; and sister, Betty Coffield.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 60 years, Nora Ann Crowe; daughter, Tiffany (Steven) May; brother, Jordan Neal; grandchildren, Hunter Sparks, Garath (Brooke) May, and Sydney May; cousin, Linda (Lee) Hobbs; as well as several other loving family and friends.
