Daniel Lee Raley, 41, of McHenry, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, surrounded by his family at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born Sunday, May 15, 1983, in Hartford, Kentucky to Joanie Riger Goff and the late Scott Raley. He had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Aside from his father he was preceded in death by his 2nd fathers, Leon Smith, and Timbo Goff; maternal grandparents, John F. Riger and Janet Benlee Reddish; paternal grandparents, Danny and Nancy Raley; stepsister, Sara Hatton; aunt, Karen Ferguson, and uncles, Larry Jones and Todd Watson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Joanie Goff (Adam Hayes); five children, Danielle, Leona, Gracie, Mason, and Garett Raley; two grandsons, Remington Mattingly and Memphis Raley; sister, Kelly Smith (Tim Miller); five brothers, Timmy and Tommy Goff, Leo Hatton, Dustin Raley, and Derek Bailey; two stepsisters, Christina and Patricia Goff; grandfather, Marion “Dagwood” Reddish; six aunts, Verna (Robert) Smith, Charlena (Gerald) Shreve, Dinky (Chuck) Topper, Joyce Jones, Janet Watson, and Fredia (Geary) Ferguson; eight uncles, Terry Raley, Ray Ferguson, Michael (Misty) Riger, John (Sarah) Riger, Jesse Riger, “Bubby” Junior Fergurson, Mitch (Francis) Ferguson, and Rich Reddish as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, December 2, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Daniels family from 10:30 AM until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
