Sheila K. Sparks Smith, 77, of Maceo, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on June 16, 1947 to the late Robert B. and Mary Zeda Dickerson Sparks. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith; daughter, Tamitha McElwain; grandson, Shawn McElwain; siblings, Jeanie Goff and Terry Sparks.
Survivors include her sons, Billy (Karen) McElwain and Lee (Bonnie) Smith; daughter, Kim (Bobby Hamilton) Booker; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her 4-legged buddy, Boo Boo.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 pm until 4 pm, with a short service starting at 4 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial in Kelly Cemetery at a later date.
