William Dwight Taylor, 80 of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, Kentucky. He was born on November 17, 1944 in Hartford, Kentucky to the late William Maurice and Mary Rachel Johnson Taylor. Dwight was a United States Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Slaty Creek Baptist Church and he was a self-employed farmer.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Diane Spinks.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his daughters, Kara Taylor of Owensboro and Rebecca (Tim) McKeown of Beaver Dam; one sister, Dana Harvey of Columbia, Kentucky and two granddaughters, Kylie Johnson and Avery Johnson.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Slaty Creek Baptist Church (3185 State Route 269 Beaver Dam, KY 42320) with Rev. Alton Crowe officiating. Friends may visit with Dwight’s family from 1-2 P.M. on Sunday at the church.
