Fredia Ann Ketterman, 77, of Owensboro, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024. She was born June 7th, 1947, in Muhlenberg County to the late Calvin Mark Whitaker and Alma Hargett Whitaker. Fredia worked at and retired from Pinkerton Tobacco. She loved her family, enjoyed camping, and watching UK basketball, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major Robert I. Ketterman; brother, James Whitaker; and an infant sister.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Byrne (Catherine) and Michael Byrne (Heather); grandchildren, Michelle Scheffer (Jamie), Kyle Byrne (Brittany), David Byrne, Jessica Byrne, Nathan Byrne, Brenna Byrne, Irelynd Byrne, and Liam Byrne; and great-grandchild, Charlotte Scheffer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th, at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th at the funeral home.
