Otis “Ricky” Richard Chappell, 60, of Owensboro, passed away on December 2, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County native was born July 15, 1964 to the late Otis Lee and Myrl Jeanette Chappell. Ricky took pleasure in working with his hands, either with landscaping, building projects, or mechanics. He was also fond of music, listening to country and Elvis Presley.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by a brother, Charles R. Chappell and sister, Barbara Syzmanski.
Those left to cherish his memories include his sisters, Rose Horn, Sheila Johnson, Marsha Dudik, Cindy Calahan, and Kathy Rose; brother, Kenneth Chappell; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
