Dortha Dougherty

Dortha Dougherty, 99, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Neelyville, Missouri on December 12, 1919 to the late Levy and Della Maye Faith. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and clipping coupons.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dougherty.

Dortha is survived by her children, Jerry Lancaster, Marva (Curtis) Jones, Gayle Cuppett, 11 grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 17, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Brother Keith Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
