
Elvis Hardin “Bucky” Moss, Jr., age 60, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2024.
Born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, Elvis was the beloved son of the late Minnie and Elvis Moss. From a young age, he was deeply rooted in faith, nurtured by his involvement at Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Elvis was also an avid baseball player in his youth, a passion that remained with him throughout his life.
Throughout the years he has travelled to many of the United States including Florida, California, Indiana, and many more. He spent numerous summers in Paducah, Kentucky visiting friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Gwendolyn “Beana” Acton, Janel Anita Moss-Davis, and James “Bubba” Acton.
Elvis is survived by his loving children, daughter, Clara (George) Sloan and son, Jamin Roberson; his cherished siblings, Janice Moss, Georgia “Georgie” Moss, Charles Hatchett, and William “Bill” Moss; grandchildren, Grant Sloan, Delano Ray, Jonah Rucker, and Makenzie Whitaker; and one aunt, Donna Goodwin.
Elvis leaves behind a legacy of kindness, passion, and steadfastness in the face of life’s challenges as well respectfulness and loyalty.
Memorial services celebrating Elvis’s life will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 25, 2025 at Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1213 E 10th St, Owensboro, KY 42303.
