Eaton Wayne Tindle

April 8, 2017 - May 19, 2019

Eaton Wayne Tindle, 2, of Lewisport, passed away May 19, 2019 at Norton’s Children Hospital. He was born April 8, 2017 in Owensboro to John Boy and Angel Tindle. Eaton, “Piglet” or “E-E” as he was sometimes referred to, loved chocolate. He did his best to always follow his older siblings’ footsteps in eating what they were having and in the midst of it, creating some pretty good messes. Eaton loved working with his daddy. Always just footsteps behind him watching him work and carrying off the occasional tool. He was said to be a “two-year-old gear head.” His personality was larger than life. Eaton could keep up with the best of the kids while playing and could do anything his brother and sister could do. He always smiled, was good at catching chickens (but not as good as his sister) and loved playing out on the farm. If he wasn’t the center of attention…give him some time.

Eaton was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Alberta and Waldo Tindle, Ray Stevens, Minnie and John Strobel, Ida Dupin, James Worthington and Billy Dupin; uncle, Scotty Tindle and cousin, Jesse Tindle.

He is survived by his parents; John Boy and Angel Tindle; sister, Holley Tindle; brother, Joseph Tindle; grandparents, John and Tammy Tindle, Candy and Joseph Strobel; great-grandmother, Judy Stevens; uncles, Joseph (Ashley) Strobel, Sonny (Lacie) Tindle; Aunts, Stephanie (Brian) Barrow, Nikki (Matthew) Powers; cousins, Ellis Strobel, Brayden Tindle, Emma Tindle, Robert Slaton, Elais Cook, Alexis Barrow, Ava Barrow and Vinny Powers Herder and a host of honorary aunts and uncles, and many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
