Nellie Gray Vickers, 83, of Owensboro, passed away May 21, 2019 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born May 17, 1936 in Daviess County to the late Charles and Nora Cheshire. Nellie enjoyed her flowers, fresh garden foods, and the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her outspoken nature.
Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Warren Vickers; and her daughter, Jonelle Daughtery.
She is survived by her daughter, Nora Sprankle; sons, Richard (Lori), Michael, and Charlie (Debra) Vickers; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held 10am Sunday, June 2nd, at Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
