Esther Mae Huffines, age 85 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away February 5, 2025, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on April 16, 1939, daughter of the late Clyde and Ola Daugherty Aldridge. Esther attended services at several Methodist Churches over the years, however, the last she attended was Calvert Community Church. She was a hard working homemaker who raised chickens, stripped tobacco, enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Gospel music and tending to her cactuses and African violets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ricky Huffines and son-in-law Dennis Moorman.
Esther is survived by 2 daughters: Glenda Huffines of McDaniels, KY and Brenda Moorman of McQuady, KY
3 grandchildren: Amanda Clark (Larry). Emily Moorman (Andrew) and Abbey Moorman (Travis)
9 great grandchildren: Addi Mae, Charley, Lyle, Ballard, River, Riley, Noah, Gabby and Claire
Private graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery.
