Joe Dale Hamilton

Joe Dale Hamilton, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born June 21, 1934, in Livermore to the late Frank Hamilton and Lucy Pearl Hamilton. Joe worked for Inland Steel Co. in East Chicago, Indiana, and retired after working for 30 years.

He was a member and was actively involved at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Joe Ellis Lodge 473 in Pleasant Ridge and VFW 696 in Owensboro.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wilma in 2014.

Joe is survived by his sons, William D. (Melanie) Fike, Timothy (Kathy) Hamilton and Ronald (Sheila) Hamilton; and six grandchildren, Madge Eriks, Jesse Fike, Jaimie (Ryan) Fike-Moore, Katie Hamilton, Joe Hamilton and Ronnie Hamilton Jr.; He was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Ashton Eriks, Micah Moore, and Rosalie Moore.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, Mount Carmel Cemetery with Brother Chris Taylor officiating.
