Henry Phillip “Phil” Fullenwider, 80, of Lewisport, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Daviess County, KY on August 2, 1944 to the late William and Amelia Johnson Fullenwider.
Phil was a farmer and a member of Lewisport Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, farming and lawncare. Phil was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Fullenwider; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlin and Katie; great grandson, Landon.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Brenda Colbert Fullenwider; children, Amy (Todd) Duncan, Jarred (Valarie) Fullenwider and Casey (Kaylie) Fullenwider; grandchildren, Sara, Cris, Courtney, Brody, Evan, Jakob, Aiden, Liam and Lynlee; great grandchildren, Maci, Brantley, Colby, Holden and one on the way; siblings, Johnny Fullenwider, Shirley Henson, Anna Wilson and Linda Jenkins along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Phil’s family will be greeting friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 am until service time a 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Kelly Cemetery Fund or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
