Beech Creek- Myrtie Kennedy, 88 of Beech Creek died February 15th, 2025 at 7:50 P.M at her residence. Mrs. Kennedy was born on July 9th 1936 in Muhlenberg County. Mrs Kennedy was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Kennedy is preceded in death by her husband Ted Kennedy, Parents, Hugh and Ethel Owens, Brother, Melfred Owens, Jack Owens, Travis Owens and Andrew Owens, Sisters, Henrietta and Loretta.
Survivors: children, John (Judy) Kennedy, Robert (Jan) Kennedy, Keith (Melia) Kennedy) Cindy Garrett. Sister, Oretha Joines, Several Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral services will be Friday February 21, 2025 at 11:00am at Union Ridge cemetery. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Greg Brooks will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10 A.M to 10:30 AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home in Beechmont.
