Gail D. Carlton 77, of Livermore, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Gail Darlene Wilson was born February 2, 1948 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Osco and Margie Case Wilson and was married to Malon Ellis Carlton on January 6, 1982.
Gail retired after several years of service as a certified nurses assistant and was a member of the Pentecostal Faith. Gail loved going to church and spending time with both her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Malon Carlton, who died May 4, 2023; a son, Johnny E. Edmonds, Jr.; a sister, Gloria Ball; and a niece, Gaye Johnson.
Gail is survived by a son, Keith Howard (Kim) of White Plains; a daughter, Shanon Farris (Jeff) of Island; six grandchildren, April Dykes (Macky), Matthew Farris, Tyler Farris (Christy), Charity Howard, Lyndsay Howard, and Rebekah Howard; four great grandchildren, Marcus Dykes, Jasmine Dykes, Waylon Farris, and Leland Farris; three sisters, Sharron Hillard (Leon) of Island, Connie Cline (Donnie), and Dreama Chambers both of Livermore; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 24, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Gail’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Livermore.
