Ronnie Ransom, 66, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born December 25, 1952 in Daviess County. Ronnie had attended Christ Gospel Church. He loved his family and his sisters were his favorites. He also loved his dog, Little Bit, gentle rain storms, singing, and making everyone happy. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ransom, his father that raised him, Charles “Billy” Shock in 1996, a sister, Rachel Watson in 2009, and a brother, Charles Ransom in 1974.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Shock of Owensboro, three sisters, Alice Clark, Sharon Blair, and Linda Colbert, all of Owensboro, four brothers, Roger Shock, Terry Shock, and Bill Shock, all of Owensboro, and Charlie Ransom of Henderson, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Michelle and Cliff Head of Owensboro.
Private military honors and burial will be held in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
