Kevin Lee Martin, 51, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born August 10, 1967 in Daviess County to James Ray Martin and Joyce Gail Gaddis Martin. He had worked for 29 years at Swedish Match as the office service coordinator and currently was employed at Frito-Lay. Kevin was a member of Owensboro Christian Church where he was active with the youth ministry program his entire adult life. He loved to spend time with his family, watching his kids play various sports, traveling, and bonfires with amazing friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ray Martin.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Regina Brewer Martin; three sons, Joel Lee Martin, of Lexington, William James Martin, and Joshua David Martin; his mother, Joyce Gail Martin; sister, Laura Marks (Stephen); brother, Timothy Martin (Kathryn); and lots of very close friends and very special nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 12 p.m. noon on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
