Michael Anthony Sims, 66, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at his home. He was born May 19, 1958 in Owensboro to William Robert and Anna Lois Rhoades Sims. Michael worked at Glenmore as a forklift driver. He loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, Michael is preceded in death by a brother, Mark Sims.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Sims; son, Brandon Sims (Mallory); a grandson, Colton Bivins; two sisters, Sandy Merrit and Lori Butler (Thom); and a brother, Jeff Sims (Sandra).
Visitation is from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home with prayers at 6:30 p.m. Private graveside services will be held in Resurrection Cemetery.
