Connie Lou Mullins, 70, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at her home. She was born January 11, 1955 in Daviess County to the late Frank Albert and Garnetta Payne Barnett. Connie worked as a certified nurse’s assistant at Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, and watching her flowers grow. She was always a happy person and wanted everyone else to be happy. Connie was a friend to everyone and she loved her family very much. Recently, she received a plaque for perfect attendance at work and was very proud of that. Connie was also preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Mullins.
Surviving are her siblings, sisters Sharon Payne of Owensboro and Wilma Quinn of Calhoun and her brother, Frank Barnett (Cherri) of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 2 PM Wednesday May 7 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
