SACRAMENTO – Christa Michelle Shepherd, 50, of Sacramento, died Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2:45AM at her residence in Sacramento. Ms. Shepherd was born July 15, 1974 in Madisonville. She was a member of Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church and worked for McDonald’s in Madisonville as a Team Leader. Christa was a caregiver for Carter Miller, who was the light of her life. She also had many co-workers that she called friends at Madisonville McDonald’s and cherished her time with them. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with them. She loved to go shopping. Her favorite thing was going shopping every Monday with her mom, Rita, aunts, Janie, and Betty, and cousin, Debbie. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rolley Jr.; and grandparents, Carl and Golda Gish, and Robert and Floelda Rolley.
She is survived by her mother, Rita (Teddy) Tooley; husband, Jerry Bowling; sons, Darr Shepherd, and Rica (Kris) Shepherd; daughters, Bethany Shepherd, and Shauna Shepherd; grandchildren, Keiara Wells, Kenaleigh Wells, Ryleigh Wells, Alianna Shepherd, Addilynn Smith, Aero Smith, Carter Miller, and William Joines.
Graveside services will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 12PM at Shaver’s Cemetery in Sacramento with Dale
