Charles William Morris, 70, of Owensboro, passed away, on May 3, 2025. He was born, on February 3, 1955, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Arthur and Mary Morris.
Charles loved Jesus, he loved to cook, and he loved his kitty cats—but more than anything, he loved his family. His door was always open, and so was his heart. Whether it was a hot meal on the stove or a quiet place to sit and talk, he made sure everyone felt welcome. His faith guided his life, his hands brought comfort through food, and his kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Morris, his sister, Margaret Noffsinger, and his nephew, Brandon Cooper.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, David Calloway, Wendy Harrison, Charles Morris, Destiny Michum, and Nicholas Morris; his grandchildren, River Vickers, Ryder Vickers, Rosalyn Vickers, Shawn Michum, Les Lawrence, Brandon Humphreys, Lilly Morris, Kayleigh Morris, Hailey Morris, Kinsley Morris, Kole Morris, Maxx Morris, and Tanner Morris; six sisters and three brothers, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
