Renita A. Lasher passed away on May 5, 2025, at her home in Yelvington at the age of 67. She was born on December 24, 1957, to the late Gilbert and Mildred Van Winkle in Tell City, Indiana.
Renita was like sunshine, always looking on the bright side of life. She loved being with her family. Renita was an avid crocheter and artist, as well as a Kentucky Wildcat fan.
In addition to her parents, Renita was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Darrell Roark; sister-in-law, Sharon Van Winkle; nephew, Lee Voyles; and fur baby, Dani.
She is survived by her children, Jessica Lasher and Jeremy Lasher; brothers, Wade Van Winkle, Mark (Dot) Van Winkle, Lane (Ella) Van Winkle, Greg (Andrea) Van Winkle, and Brad VanWinkle; sister, Brenda (Jim) Goffinet; fur babies, Fiona, Louis, and Poppy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
