Bobby Earl McIntyre

Bobby Earl McIntyre, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born November 8, 1949 in McHenry, Kentucky to the late Chester and Mary Ezell McIntyre. Bobby was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of New Beginnings in Spottsville, Kentucky. Bobby was a pastor and retired after 20 years from Inland Container. He was always funny and in good spirits until the very end. Bobby was loved by all he came in contact with especially his family who he enjoyed spending his time with the most.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Kelton; infant brother, Eddie McIntyre; and siblings, Virginia Phelps, Hazel Bishop, Williard, Jerry, Charles, Pacal, Bill, and Eugene McIntyre.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry McIntyre; children, Robert McIntyre, Crystal Small (Sam), and Tamela Kelton (Steve Black); grandchildren, Travis Clark, Will and Katy Gibson, Whitney Sims, Brittney Rorer, and Jonathan Kelton; great-grandchildren, Kassidy and Kearra Sims, Lilly and Emma Kelton, and Elliott Rorer; siblings, James McIntyre, Conrad McIntyre, Danny McIntyre (Pat) and Athlene Farris (Hilliard); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at McHenry Community Center, 75 James Street, McHenry, KY.
