Karin Rosa Hahus, age 75 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away May 11, 2025, at Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY. She was born in Coburg, Germany on January 14, 1950. Karin spent many years as a CNA at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, where she was well liked by her patients and co-workers. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing German meals, listening to the oldies – especially Conway and Tammy and flower gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Distelkamp and her brother Werner Lieberman.
Karin is survived by her daughter Heike Myers (Stephen) of Lancaster, SC
2 grandchildren: Myranda Nicole Morrell (Brett) and Caleb James Paul Myers (Lizzie)
1 great grandchild: Greyson Wade Morrell
Her companion of 30 years Lester Smith and his family of Hardinsburg, KY
Cremation has been chosen with no local services. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in South Carolina.
