Kevin Russell Chappell, 35, of Lewisport, passed away on May 10, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1989 in Owensboro to Richard and Sherlyn O’Bryan Chappell. Kevin was a mechanic and loved spending time outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing or riding dirt bikes. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Chappell.
Kevin is survived by his children, Abby Chappell, Jenny Drury, Kohen Chappell and Kollin Chappell; mother, Sherlyn (William) Bailey; sisters, Shrina (Shawn) Sanders and Samantha (John) Beckett along with nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel.
