Martha Faye Moseley, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on May 18, 2025, at Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 18, 1938, and was the beloved daughter of the late William Lewis Speaks and Mary Virginia Baird.
Martha was a charismatic and lighthearted woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a deep appreciation for nature, especially the beauty of blooming flowers, and a lifelong love for animals. Known for her warmth and friendliness, Martha never met a stranger. Her playful spirit and kind heart touched all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her children, Susie Clark, Tommy Moseley, and Little Martin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Debbie (Austin) Baird, Marie (Marty) Hayden, Bobby Moseley, Cathy (Rick) Logsdon, Bill (Tina) Moseley, Lin Moseley, and Andy Moseley; 21 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; as well as several other loving family and friends.
A private service will be held to honor Martha’s life.
