Jerry A. Meyer, 81, of Owensboro, died on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his home. He was born March 5, 1938 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Albert C. Meyer and Virginia Drury Meyer. He had worked at Century Aluminum as an electric engineer. He was a Mason and liked to fish, refinish furniture, and working with stained glass . In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Janette Meyer; and a sister, Linda Meyer.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Meyer; son, David C. Meyer; daughter, Linda Michelle Vanover; stepson, Brian Williams; grandchildren, Amanda Bickett, Laura Onstott and Emily Horn; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Meyer (Brooks); nephews, Joel, Jeff, and Jamie Meyer; great-nephews, Zack Meyer, Blake Meyer, Auden Meyer, and Jasper Meyer; and one great-niece, Genevieve Meyer.
Graveside service will be at a later date at Marshall County Memorial Gardens in Benton, KY. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
