Harold Gene "Huck" Basham

Harold Gene “Huck” Basham, 88, of Owensboro went to his eternal home to be with his Lord Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born January 25,1931 in Maceo, KY to Henry and Nora Clark Basham. Huck served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked at Agri Trucking and retired from Teamsters Local union 215. He was a member of Grace Pointe Baptist Church, formerly Parish Avenue Baptist Church where he drove the church van, served as usher and on property committee. He was a master Mason of Grand Lodge, F&A.M Monsarrat 379 at Panther, KY. Huck was a loving husband and father, always putting his family first.

He is preceded in death by his brothers: J.C., Wilbur, Robert Basham; sisters: Nellie Luttrell and Mary Taylor.

Huck is survived by his wife of 49 years Shirley Arnold Richeson Basham; daughters Sharon Butler, Theresa (Barry) Ralph; sons Rick (Kathy) Richeson, Danny (Shelly) Richeson; grandchildren: Jason (Lisa) Butler, Duane (Emily) Richeson, Derek (Lauren) Ralph, Kayla (Alvin) Phillips, Brittany (Lance) Woolverton, Ryan Richeson; 5 great grandchildren.

At his request no visitation or services. Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
