Everett E. “Bud” Padgett, 71, of Maceo passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 under the care of his loving sisters and caregivers, Diamond Quiggins, Anna Bender, and Reedonna Landon. He was born in Daviess County on December 18, 1947 to the late Everett Earnest Freeman Padgett and Stella Onstott Padgett. Everett was a plumber and pipefitter. He enjoyed motorcycles, horses, guns, and cars.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Everett L. and his brother, Sherman.
He is survived by his children, James, Angie, and Everett L. Padgett; his nephew and friend, Ernest Merritt; his constant companions (his yorkies), Angel, Sugar Bear, Spanky, Prince, Missy Lou, Skipper, and his little Buddy.
Private services will be held at a later date.
