Donnie Richard Frakes, 72, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was born December 10, 1952 in Daviess County. His parents were Donnie and Martha Frakes. Even when he was in his 70’s, some family members referred to him as “Little Donnie”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Angela Cobb.
He will be missed by his sister, Geri Jones (Bill); brother, Troy Frakes (Emila); aunts, Nancy Markwell and Doris Frakes; uncle, Harold Frakes; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Mass said for him at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
