
John Charles Hutton, 79, of Owensboro, passed away on November 26, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on September 17, 1946, in Long Beach, California, to the late John L. and Barbara Kehn Hutton. John was a proud United States Air Force and Army National Guard veteran. He worked as a truck driver for Miles Enterprises for more than 20 years. He enjoyed the world of Harry Potter, watching westerns, and working puzzles, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Imelda “Darlene” Hutton.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Jayme Hutton of Weirton, West Virginia, and Stephanie Hutton; his son, Wes Hutton of Henderson; and his grandchildren: Makayla McKannan (Nate), Jordan Mattingly (Destiney), Garrett Hutton, Jeri Lynn Hutton, Samantha Vadan (Will), Johnathon Shreves, Regina Nicholson (Kenny), and Dakota Shreves (Mackenzie). He is also survived by his brother, Mike Hutton; his sisters, Randi Hutton, Donna Hutton, and Pam Hutton Suppon; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
