Oliver Lee Hardin, 94, of Utica, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN. He was born on July 25, 1931 in Ohio County, KY to the late Ernest and Grace Cook Hardin. He was a United States Air Force and National Guard veteran. He worked as an engineer for Colonial Bakery for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and watching his birds. He also enjoyed listening to country music.
In addition to his parents, Oliver was preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Hardin; and brothers, Gary Hardin, Delmar Hardin, and Ernest Hardin Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sheila Ann Wetzel Hardin; daughter Leigh Ann Hollenback (Terry); Son, Michael Williams (Jodelle); three grandchildren, Lindsey Williams, Charissa Williams and Garrett Hollenback; sisters, Ardoth Wilkerson and Janice Murphy; and brother Dudley Eugene Hardin.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday December 31, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
