James “Jamie” Clark II, 57, of Owensboro, passed away on March 26, 2026. He was born in Owensboro on January 19, 1969, to Linda Castlen Clark and the late James M. Clark. Jamie was a 1988 graduate of Apollo High School. During his time there, he was active in sports, playing football and competing in track, demonstrating both athleticism and teamwork from an early age.
Jamie dedicated 17 years of hard work to Fields Packing- SFG, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Throughout his life, Jamie found joy in simple pleasures and favorite pastimes—spending time at the bowling alley with his friends and playing on a bowling league, following NASCAR races, and cheering on the Chicago Bears. These interests were more than hobbies; they were a way Jamie connected with friends, family, and community. Above all, Jamie deeply loved his family and treasured the time spent with them. He especially cherished moments with his children and grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Jamie was a member of Apollo Heights Baptist Church and the Baptist Association, where he valued faith and fellowship.
Along with his father, Jamie was preceded in death by his son, Todd Allen Clark.
Along with his mother, Linda Castlen Clark, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Stacey Ann “Gibson” Clark; his sons, Cody R. Clark and Dillin R. Clark; his grandchildren, Eli Allen, Emily Grace, and Kaiser Atticus Clark; his siblings, Charlie Clark and Sonya Clark; and his beloved fur baby, Oreo.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with prayers being said at 6:45 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
