Marshall L. Reynolds, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 20, 1948 in Daviess County to the late Bethel Marson Reynolds and Margaret Garrison Willis Reynolds. Marshall had worked as a carpet layer for 40+ years before going to work for Home Pool then Professional Pool Service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and VFW. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a Mason. Marshall enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his kids and having a cold beer.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah “Debbie” Reynolds; children, Clint Reynolds, Tara Felty (Scott Roby), Joseph Russelburg, and Wesley Russelburg (Haley); the mother of his two children, Bonnie Reynolds; seven grandchildren, Timmy Pointer, Tiffany Devins, Dillon Reynolds, Maylin Russelburg, Arlee Russelburg, Owen Russelburg, and Rainey Russelburg; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Haywood (Sammy), Janet Jewell (Harold), Sonya Shepherd (Red) of Greenville, SC and Tammy Veal of Easley, SC; brothers, Marty Reynolds of Greenville, SC and Bobby Reynolds of Tampa Bay, FL; uncle, Dan Reynolds (Mary Martha); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
