William Eugene Higdon, 62, of Whitesville, passed away at the Heartford House of Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born on November 4, 1963 in California to the late Augustine “Gene” Eugene and Margaret Ann Carrico Higdon. He enjoyed dice, cards, gambling and spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his parents William is preceded in death by a brother, James Higdon.
William is survived by his children, Olivia Higdon, Kalie (Zach) Howard and Ryan Simon: grandchildren, Gunner Payne, Grant Howard, Aiden Simon, Emalie Clark and Eli Clark: his sister, Jane (Donnie) Goodman; his best friend and the mother of his children, Kristi Higdon and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, KY. A graveside service will be at St. William Catholic Cemetery on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 12pm
