Laura Jane Blanton, 43, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1982 in Owensboro to Dennis Blanton and Janie Clark Miller. Laura previously worked at Active Day, Sun Windows, and was a personal care sitter. She loved bingo, cooking and talking on the phone. Her daughter was the love of her life, and from the very beginning, she shared an unbreakable bond with her granny, who was her closest friend.
She was preceded in death by her papaw, Fred Blanton; and mamaw, Linda Clark.
Survivors include her daughter, Symphany VeraViolet; mother, Janie Miller (Eric); father, Dennis Blanton; siblings, Brittany Cottoner (Keith), Dallas Blanton, and Dakota Blanton; granny, Barbara Blanton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
