Nancy Reynolds, 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 at her home. She was born on September 11, 1954 in Daviess County to the late James Robert Westerfield and Verna Childers Westerfield. Nancy retired from Brescia University where she worked as an accountant and was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, flowers, and taking bus trips. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dora Winchester-Moore, Martha Westerfield, Irene Westerfield, and Jimmy Westerfield.
She is survived by two sons, Jason Reynolds (Sheryl) and Joshua Reynolds (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Keeonna Kelley, Baylee Reynolds, Isabella Reynolds, and Sonja Reynolds; three great-grandchildren, Easton Rutherford, Reece Rutherford, and Braylen Reynolds; siblings, Millie Westerfield, Carl Westerfield, Glenial Westerfield, and Frank Westerfield; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
